The biggest advantage of the British shorthair Rousi is her good personality . She
is my daughter, and she is my biological daughter!
Before marriage, my husband and I discussed raising an animal after marriage, so as to avoid the two irritable Virgos from having real-life PK at home every day. At first, we wanted to raise a dog, but considering the dog’s toilet training and the need for companionship, I thought I was not capable of raising a dog well, and I couldn’t bear to let it live in endless waiting every day, after all, it was a working dog.
Later, we decided to raise a cat. My husband likes big faces, but doesn’t like flat faces, so we chose British shorthairs. So we made an appointment half a month before the marriage, and Rousi was taken home on the third day after the marriage.
Generally, British shorthairs have a good temper. I have seen Rousi’s father, as a stud, being slapped by a female cat who came to borrow him for mating, and finally sitting aside with a wronged face (´・_・`). The
biggest advantage of Rousi is her good personality! Good personality! Good personality!
1. She doesn’t scratch or bite people. Although she occasionally makes trouble, it is very light. She will let go as soon as I inhale. She will never attack even if she is given an injection, trimmed her nails, or drawn blood, which is very uncomfortable. Especially after eating, there is no reaction to the vaccination.
2. Sweet. Although she doesn’t look very sweet, nor is she the kind of clingy girl who asks for hugs every minute, she likes to stay in a room with others.

At first, I didn’t let her go to bed. She lay on my pillow. I asked her to get off, but she came over and kissed me on the nose! That was the second day after I got home! I compromised…
As a result, she slept on the pillow again the next day. I said it was useless for you to kiss me today! She touched my forehead with one paw and my chin with the other paw, looked at me, looked at me, looked at me, and then closed her eyes and fell asleep! Okay, I compromised again.
3. Sensible. Two months after marriage, my husband went to work in another city and could only come back once a week. Most of the time I lived by myself. I have never lived by myself before, so it would be a lie to say that I am not afraid at all. The heating at home was very hot those days, and Rousi didn’t want to sleep on the bed. I said that Mom was afraid to sleep alone, so she ran back to my pillow to sleep.
Now she sleeps by herself when my husband is at home, and she goes to the pillow when he is not at home, probably because she thinks my husband’s snoring is too noisy (=´∀`) (´∀`=) She
had insomnia a while ago, and couldn’t sleep all night. She went to the bathroom three or four times. No matter if it was one, three or five o’clock, she had to follow me to the bathroom door, because I didn’t let her in, so she waited for me at the door, and then followed me back to the bedroom to sleep.
Never knock over anything! Never knock over anything! Never knock over anything! She will walk carefully along the wall when walking behind the photo frame. Before I go to work, I put an empty Coke bottle on the floor, and it fell down when I touched it. When I came back from work, she was still standing there!
4. Easy to feed, not begging for food. This is also inseparable from her mother and my education… The pretentious mode is on.
Since I started raising Shunshun in junior high school, I had no experience in raising dogs, so I gave it human food, which led to Shunshun’s very poor eating habits. So since I brought Rousi back home, I didn’t let her eat any human food. Over time, she wouldn’t steal food even if the dishes were on the table. When we eat, she would sleep or play by herself.
Although the canned cat food I bought for her was not cheap, it was not a big deal. There was no pressure to change the food. She ate the American canned food that was said to be not very palatable. My aunt said that I should feed her some lecithin to make her hair better. I crushed it and mixed it in the canned food so that the cat would eat it. As a result, I threw two large pieces on top of the dry food before going to work every day, and she ate it with the cat food when she came back at night… My aunt has been breeding poodles for a long time. She always said that it is more difficult to feed cats with medicine than dogs. I heard that it is not easy to feed Rousi’er, which is so easy to feed.
This is a set of pictures I made of her for Valentine’s Day… Now the most worrying thing is that she only grows but does not gain weight. She eats a lot, which makes me sad…
