Rice is a lovely British shorthair cat, who is becoming more and more clingy and loves to act like a spoiled child. (1)
Rice is a lovely British shorthair cat. I was melted by her cuteness the second time I visited a pet store (I wanted to buy a Maine Coon at the time, but I didn’t expect to buy a Shorthair later). Other kittens would pant at me when I brought them out, but she was the only one who kept looking at me innocently and interacted with me through the glass.
I couldn’t wait to take her home before I even got her food bowl or anything.
When she first came, I just felt that she had a good personality. No matter how I played with her, she would not get angry or stretch out her claws. She also liked to play when I teased her, but she was still very alert and didn’t like to lean on people or be held by people (the picture above was taken later).
I felt a little disappointed because I wanted to have a very clingy cat, the kind that would follow me wherever I went, haha. At that time, I started to think about what to raise as my second cat
(when she first came, I was afraid that it would be bad to change the food directly. Rice ate the more ordinary cat food bought from the pet store, so she tended to eat a lot and had a big belly, and she also had a lot of eye mucus). (I was so silly when I first came here that I especially liked sleeping on pillows, haha) But in the spirit of ” everyone is a guest”, I feed her chicken and fish. I found out that crossbreeding between Dwarf and British Shorthair cats is more likely to have heart problems, so I bought super fish oil and Shuhua milk, and got a membership card for the chain pet store here.

On weekends, I buy snacks and various toys with my boyfriend and joke with him that I am happier buying snacks for her than buying them for myself. Gradually, I found that her eye mucus was almost gone, and her fur became very shiny and smooth, and it was blue-gray. She is very pretty, with short legs, and she runs around like a slick rat spirit. Haha, I never want to be mean to her, but she usually doesn’t destroy things or bite the string when she’s alone at home. She’s very well behaved.
My boyfriend and I cut her nails, wipe her butt, and wash her ears. We always coax her slowly, feed her snacks while comforting her, and hold her in my arms while she’s taking a bath or blow-drying her hair for fear that she’ll be scared. (But even if she’s particularly irritated during a bath, she won’t stretch out her claws, she will just run away, haha.)
She likes to sleep in a bed, so I specially got her a quilt and made a mat for her (she doesn’t like the soft cat bed I bought specially for her). (Poor short hands can only touch their chins hahahaha) My boyfriend usually cooks eggs and chicken breasts for her, and is very patient to break them into pieces and feed them rice slowly. Not only does she have a good personality, but when playing games, she will “pa ji” stay by your keyboard, look at the screen, and then turn her head to look at you. When my boyfriend plays CS, she will chase and hit the things on the screen. Haha. When she goes to the toilet, no matter what she does, she will rush to the door and scream heartbreakingly, which makes my boyfriend and I rush to wipe our butts every time. As soon as she comes out, she starts to rub against you non-stop, and especially complains, “You finally came out woo woo woo.” She also doesn’t let me go when reading. . .
This is why my progress in analog electronics is slow! (Yes! At first, she especially likes to sleep with people, or play on our bodies (Rice is very well-behaved, unless we use the earphone wire to tease her, she never chews when she is alone (A dead cat that insists on me holding her neck to sleep . Every day when I get home from work and just reach the door, she starts to cry when she hears our voices (A little pig that starts to roll around and act coquettishly when I come back (I have to jump on my legs when I put on makeup. I put on for 15 minutes and the old monk entered a state of meditation and watched for 15 minutes… Usually when we watch the camera at work, we find that she really sleeps all day.
Only when we come back will she be particularly excited and keep playing. I feel sorry for her, but now I live in my boyfriend’s dormitory, the space is relatively small, and there is no condition to raise a second one to accompany her . In fact, it is mainly because she is very piggy. Other people’s cats… are all buffets. Our cat eats 10g if you give her 10g, and she will eat 50g until her belly is round and she will eat it clean!!! She will eat until she has diarrhea… So I bought her an electronic scale and an automatic feeder… I am also afraid that she will be too fat and bad for her heart
