The French bulldog has been home the shortest. I got him from Xianyu and he’s been home for less than a week. He can’t hold it in and will poop in the cage, but he won’t pee or poop on the mat, and he certainly won’t poop in the food bowl. When the French bulldog came home, the poodle became the boss of the French bulldog. Every day, they bullied the French bulldog for fun. The French bulldog would run away when they saw her. The poodle would hug her neck and throw her. This was the first time I saw this. It

’s not because I don’t like poodles, but among the three dogs, Labrador is the most intimate and docile.

Because my first Labrador (Diudiu), I got him when he was 35 days old and he passed away when he was four months and a few days old due to parvovirus. He is my little tail, my source of joy, and the healer of my depression and anxiety. He is smart and cute. In less than two months, he learned to shake hands, sit, and jump. He never left us and we took him wherever we went. I cried for too many days because of Diudiu’s passing. I couldn’t eat during the days when he was sick. I personally saw it go to the dog world. The night before it left, my partner and I stayed with it. When it couldn’t even stand up, it staggered towards my partner and staggered into my arms.

Maybe it knew it was the end of its life. It couldn’t bear to leave, and couldn’t bear to leave us. That night, my partner kept watch, and I got up at 6 o’clock in the morning to take his shift. It was already confused and twitching. Although the high fever at night was gone, there was no sign of improvement in spirit. I called its name and talked to it beside it: Diudiu, if you want to go, go. Mom knows you are in pain, and Mom doesn’t want to let you go, but I don’t want you to suffer. Mom’s heart hurts… My partner said to give it some water. It hadn’t eaten or drunk water for several days. When it was in better spirits, it looked for water everywhere in the yard… (If your dog has had parvovirus or knows about it, you should know why it is forbidden to eat or drink water) I used a syringe to get half a syringe of warm water for it, fed it a mouthful, and it went to the dog world. I think it can hold on until the next morning because it is waiting for me, wants to see me, wants to hear me call its name one last time…

Tears have already fallen as I write, and finally I realize that I have gone off topic. In the end, no matter what the dog’s personality is, from the moment we bring them home, we are their whole life. We don’t ask them to be smart, we just ask them to grow up healthily.

I often see people saying on the Internet that we are better to dogs than to our own parents. But I think everyone who is good to dogs is also good to their parents. It is our parents who cultivate our love, and there is no comparison.

The above only represents my personal opinion and my own experience of raising dogs. My ability to express is limited, so shit shovelers have to make do with it.

Because of Diudiu’s departure, I sorted out my mood for a while and raised Labrador, Poodle and French Bulldog. Although they often bring me trouble, they also bring us a lot of joy.
