Bichon’s stomach is also relatively weak. When my dog goes outside, it’s like sweeping landmines. She always asks around on the ground and eats randomly. Every time I see her about to eat randomly, I will beat her, but sometimes she still eats some messy things outside without paying attention. Sometimes it may be because of catching a cold and having a weak constitution, so she vomited quite a lot in the past two years. I used to take her to the pet hospital frequently, but later I became a doctor after suffering from illness for a long time. Sometimes when there is a problem, I can handle it myself. 4. Um, the IQ is indeed not as high as Teddy (there may be smart ones, I am talking about the general phenomenon);
for some commands given by the owner, it may take a long time for it to learn. My dog is 2 years old and has learned a few simple commands so far.
Let me explain here that when I say Bichon is stupid, it just means that Bichon is a little stupid compared to smart dogs such as Teddy, Labrador, and Border Collie. For example, it is slow to learn things and can’t catch Frisbees. Let me tell you a funny thing. When my husband first brought my dog home, he bought a big Frisbee (the kind of big Frisbee that large dogs often play with, and he insisted on teaching my little dog. The Frisbee was several times the size of my dog’s head). Later, of course, he couldn’t learn it, and he couldn’t learn it, and then. . . . . . . . . . He just… threw it out and asked me to catch it!!! Damn! If you can’t teach a dog, you treat me like a dog! Angry face!
Although Bichon Frise can’t learn too many difficult things, as long as the dog owner is patient, it can learn some basic commands!
For example, my dog has learned to urinate and defecate at a fixed point. Now I walk it once in the morning and evening, and my dog also relieves her urination and defecation when I walk her out. Of course, I pick up the feces with a bag, and then I need to observe. Because I have mysophobia, I always let my husband pick up the feces, but when my husband is on a business trip, I can only pick it up by myself. Now I can face her feces without changing my expression!! Praise me!
There are also some simple words such as “sit”, “come here”, “go out”, “wait for me”, “Dad is back”, “Where is Dad going”. My husband and I now especially like to play hide-and-seek with her. I or my husband hides, and then the person who is not hiding says to her “Where is Dad going” or “Where is Mom going”.
