Most of the little lives that I cried and shouted to buy back died within 3 months. At that time, I was still young and bought it just for fun. My mother did the cleaning and feeding.
When I was a little older, I began to suggest to my parents to raise a dog. My mother probably saw through my playful character and sternly rejected me, saying “raising you is enough.” This sentence continued until I graduated from college.
My mother changed her words and said, “When you live on your own, you can raise a dog.”
By chance, I got a job that required me to stay in another place. So I finally had my own dog.

At that time, I was on a business trip in Shandong for a year. When I passed by a pet shop, I saw a few puppies squeezed in a cage. They were very cute and I was very moved. But I was not ready to keep a pet yet, so I just looked out the window every time I passed by. One day during the holiday, I had nothing to do, so I went to the pet shop with a nervous mood to pet the dogs. When I saw the puppies in the cage up close, I felt like my soul was out of my body.

Since then. I went back every weekend to see it. Seeing the puppies getting bigger and bigger, I couldn’t bear the urge to keep a dog. Finally, I brought it home a month later.
At that time, Maomao was a little more than 3 months old.
I believe in fate. I was dazzled by the litter of puppies and didn’t know which one to take home. At first, I chose a female, and the owner told me that females were more expensive. I asked why? The owner said because they can give birth to puppies. I told him that I would not let them breed regardless of male or female, so the owner suggested that I buy a male. Because male dogs are beautiful. So I picked a round one that I liked and went home.
Although it has been my dream to raise a dog for many years, and I also know a thing or two about the relevant knowledge. But I have no idea how to choose a golden retriever. Before buying a dog, I symbolically looked at Maomao’s parents. After all, no one knows whether they are his real parents. I was so dazzled by the cuteness of the golden retriever that I paid for it without saying a word.
