Experiences and lessons learned from raising a golden retriever named Simba (3)

My father’s trilogy of beating his son…

Comparison of the second child, the elder sister eats bread and the younger brother chews his feet.

During the Chinese New Year, they have formed a habit because there is an elevator in the corridor of our building and my grandmother lives on the second floor. It is very convenient to go to the toilet every time I go out. After returning home, I live on the sixth floor without an elevator. Every time I go to the toilet, I go to the toilet in the house. I will never use the dog toilet.

It was also around this time that I learned to bark when I feel like going to the toilet.

I took a few days at home and took a very beautiful photo.

After the Chinese New Year, I returned to my own small house. After all, I am not a dog lover, and my love is more capricious. Sometimes I am a little sleepy in the morning, and when I hear my mother talking to Simba, I call myself mother and call me sister. However, sometimes I am still annoyed when I go to the toilet randomly. I am freer at home.

The dilemma of eating at home is that I have to stand on a chair and put the food on the refrigerator to eat. In this way, he can’t reach it.

Once, after sending it to take a bath, we also went to the sauna, but the pet store was closed. A friend came to help me take it home. It was the first time for the dog to see a cat, and the first time for the cat to see a dog. Both of them were stunned. Simba finally got two slaps in the face and fell asleep in a daze, hahaha.

It was also at this time that I planned to get a cage for many reasons.

The relationship of sharing a house is particularly strange. Two roommates share a house, and each person only pays 200 or 300 yuan. However, one likes dogs and the other hates dogs. The atmosphere between the three of us is very strange every day. There is almost no direct communication, but the one who hates dogs still reveals his dissatisfaction openly and secretly.

Although I found a new job, the one-month idle period still overdrawn me deeply. I took advantage of the New Year’s money to buy a big bag of dog food, and the budget for the cage was really a bit too much. I didn’t want my boyfriend to spend it. During that time, I was very anxious every day because of money.

Then I was lucky to find a pet shop downstairs from my friend’s house. The cages were very old and only cost 40 yuan. Although 1 meter long is a bit small, it is a transition after all.

(Usually, it is recommended that you buy a new cage, which usually costs about 300 yuan, and there may be shipping costs. A second-hand cage involves a problem: you don’t know whether the previous dog is healthy. It is not worth it to get sick or even endanger his life. I was so poor at that time that I didn’t even want to talk about love…)

Even if the cage is disassembled, it is difficult to carry. We took a Didi taxi. The first time, the car couldn’t fit it. I felt very guilty in the cold wind. The second time, we were lucky. A car that neither of us knew came, but it was an SUV! My

roommate was not at home (I felt much more relaxed at once). We put the cage together and went to sweat steam. I felt that life was finally in shape.

…………No.

Because Simba has developed a habit of not being able to urinate or defecate anywhere, and not going to the toilet in the cage, he often barks.

I take him out to the toilet at around 7 o’clock in the morning.

The first thing I do when I get home at night is to go to the toilet. Sometimes I can’t hold it and urinate when I go downstairs. The worst time, he defecated in the corridor, and I wanted to die.

But I don’t know when to try to release the collar a little.

Let him run around to increase the amount of exercise.

It is not a reference, because many people will say that it is not safe to let pet dogs leave their collars. If they run away, you should cry.

Simba is still very obedient. He will come back when you call him. He will also chase him back if he falls too far.

He learned to go upstairs by himself. Every time he goes up half a floor, he stops and waits for people to come up before running forward. Once when I came back from walking the dog and went upstairs, I was walking in front, and my boyfriend and Simba were behind. As a result, Simba suddenly ran downstairs without looking back. After we chased him down, we guessed that it didn’t see me and thought I was gone, so it chased out to find me…

I felt so relieved at the time…

Simba is five months old on March 25th. My boyfriend and I were born on the same day and month. Simba and I were also born on the same day and month in different months. The three of us celebrated a birthday.

So handsome, hahahahahahaha.

I took a photo under the chair last night. I will follow up here for the time being.

Some experience:

1. Toys must be bought. Buy some noise-making toys to entertain him, buy some big and soft toys to cuddle, play with, ride on…

2. According to my observation, he will pee in 5-10 minutes after drinking water. He will not pee so quickly when eating. When he goes to the toilet outside, his butt will twist and turn, and he will walk with his butt clamped.

3. He is really lonely, and there is only you in his world. Spend more time with him. But do it in a way that he can accept. For example, buy him eggs, meat, bones, instead of shoes, clothes, bells, etc.

4. Buy him a big bone that will be enough for him to chew for a week. I bought the dried meat from the pet store, and I think I can buy fresh bones at the vegetable market if I have time.

5. Prepare more water. If you think mineral water is expensive, you can boil it and pour it into a large bottle for storage. It will be finished in one day.

6. Must be trained. Go to the toilet at a fixed place and train in the cage.

I can’t think of anything specific… I will add it at any time.

7. Generally, teeth will be replaced after four or five months.
