It’s strange to say, when Riven was little, other dogs didn’t like her for some reason and were unwilling to play with her. There are so many things, I don’t know which one I should talk about first.
Maybe it was because of her beauty and bad luck. Not long after Riven recovered from parvovirus, she suddenly kept coughing. We were so anxious that we took her to the hospital in the city. They said she needed fog therapy, and then some high-tech foreign thing, blah blah. I didn’t understand it, so we just treated it. After several days of treatment, there was no improvement. We simply went to the store where we treated parvovirus before. The doctor took a look and said it was similar to whooping cough in children. He prescribed an ointment for her to take at home and it was fine. It cost more than ten yuan. Thinking about the previous hospital, damn, I spent thousands of yuan and it was useless.
Speaking of this, I really have to praise this Doug Pet Hospital. It is really a conscientious hospital. Later, our dog almost went to this hospital for treatment. Unlike other hospitals, they don’t prescribe you so many messy medicines. It is cheap and effective, hhh.
Because on the first day after Parvo came back, she went to the cage to pee (note this, I will talk about it later), but when she came down, she had no strength and fell directly to the ground, screaming in pain. I was so scared that I quickly ran over to pick her up and comforted her in various ways. However, she has been psychologically traumatized since then. She dared not jump down from the cage after going to pee, and I had to go over to pick her up every day.
But she was still coughing at the time. Every night after going to pee, she couldn’t get down. The little guy was stupid and didn’t know how to cry, so I slept in the living room during those days. Fortunately, I was wearing cotton pajamas and it wasn’t cold. I held her at night. If she went to pee, I would get up and wait to pick her up.
In this way, whooping cough was also passed, and the little guy’s health gradually recovered.
There are four dogs in the family now, and I should say that Riven is the one who can communicate with us the most.
Maybe it was because when she was sick as a child, we accompanied her without taking off her clothes, and when Parvo was hospitalized, she went to accompany her every day (the doctor said that he had never seen such an active owner). Anyway, the little guy can communicate with us very well.
After shopping, he came home and felt hot, so he ran under the air conditioner, barked at us, looked at us, turned around and looked at the air conditioner, signaling us to turn on the air conditioner.
He wanted to eat snacks, so he ran to the box and barked at us, signaling that he wanted snacks.
