The story of my aunt and a stray dog

About a month ago, my aunt went for a night run one day. She ran along the river dam for seven or eight miles and saw it in an area where few people lived. At that time, this dog was by the river, and its body was like a coal ball. My aunt said it was just a stray dog and didn’t want to care about it. It was raining at that time, so my aunt ran back. This dog actually followed my aunt all the way, stopping and starting. When she arrived at the door of her house, my aunt couldn’t bear to see that it had followed her for such a long distance, so she took it home and washed it twice with shower gel and shampoo, thinking it was a grey dog. Later, she washed it again with laundry detergent and found out it was a white dog.

After I spread a sweater on it, it would lie on it and not move. It would eat when I gave it food, and then lie back down after eating. It would follow my aunt when she walked, but would stop at the kitchen or bedroom door, and would not dare to go in. It would walk in tremblingly when I asked it to. It usually did not need to be led when running with my aunt at night. It would follow me by itself. When my aunt stopped, it would stop. Another thing is that it would not urinate or defecate anywhere, so I have never seen it go to the toilet. It should be at least five or six years old. Judging from its appearance when I picked it up, it should have been wandering for some time. When I took it out for a walk, it would habitually want to find something to eat when it saw a trash can.

When I was walking it, sometimes other dogs chased it and bit it, but it would not even look at it, nor bark, and would just walk forward normally. Sometimes when I stopped to buy something, it would lie at my feet and not move. Because its name is unknown, I tried many common names such as Baobao and Wangwang, but I couldn’t figure out its name in the end. I tried it again with commands and found that it could understand “come” and “go”, but it couldn’t understand words like “go” and “leave”. It felt like it could only sense the tone of urging. It must have been called by many people when it was wandering.

The story of my aunt and a stray dog

Today I showed this answer to my aunt and revised the process. At that time, it was by the river. My aunt picked it up at the river dam. Then it kept running with my aunt. As it ran, my aunt wanted to follow it to see where it would take my aunt. Then when we reached a fork in the road, my aunt’s original route home was to go straight, but the dog took another road. My aunt followed it and took another road. Not far away, it started to hail heavily. There happened to be a bridge on the side of that road to hide from the rain. If we followed the original route, there would be river dams all the way, and there was no place to hide from the hail. After the hail stopped, it followed all the way back home. Small animals are really good at sensing the weather.

It is a good thing that the dog is well-behaved, but to be honest, I hate the person or those people who made my dog well-behaved. Its current state is like a child who has experienced turmoil and is still in shock.

I prefer a passage in “The Family of the Top”, which roughly means: “Civet cats are free creatures. Once they are locked in a cage, they will always change in a thousand ways and there is nothing they can do.” As a dog, you should be happy every day, make friends, and be passionate about everything you are curious about. Some strange trainings have trained dogs to be dog spirits, but is that kind of well-behaved the original intention of the dog? Animals and humans have different ideas. For example, white whales are born with a smiling face, and humans think white whales are very happy when they see it, but in fact, it just happens to have a smiling face in our definition. Some people deliberately train some skills such as making pets hold back from eating food or walking while standing. The owner is happy and receives compliments from others such as “this dog is really smart”, but do you think that as an animal, it will be happy. Some dogs are well-behaved because they restrain their nature to please their owners for food. (This is only for some people, not for the general)

As a dog, how can you live too strong? If you have to say that you have to be strong

, you can only say that your owner is very strong.

I don’t want to be strong, dog, you can just be casual.

Although I don’t reply much, I will read every comment. Thank you for your concern.

This update is to express my admiration for my aunt. If she hadn’t brought the dog back, I would have been just a kind spectator.

When seeing small animals, people will show compassion and love. Although my family has raised dogs before, this is the first time to raise stray dogs. To be honest, I also think stray cats and dogs on the street are cute, but I can feed them outside, but I won’t bring stray cats and dogs back, because the phrase “bring stray cats and dogs home to raise” actually has two things, one is “bringing home”, and the other is “raising”. Personally, I think the first one is more difficult, because compassion is an instinctive emotional expression, and making the decision to adopt and do it is really not something that everyone can do. In summary, my aunt is really a wonderful woman.

…………………………Pretend dividing line……………… This dog brother of mine is still a little autistic and is becoming more and more picky about food.
