The little dog has been protecting its owner and home since it was young

My little dog was picked up on the roadside before it was one month old. I think there are two reasons for its loyalty:

First, it has been protecting its owner and home since it was young.

Neighbors always bark when they pass by my door… Actually, it is a bit impolite…

Second, it recognizes its owner.

It recognizes its owner very much and is very close to my family. No matter how good the food is, it will not even smell it. My friends came to my house to play several times and felt very disappointed.

It was sent to the countryside by my parents when it was 5 months old (I was in college, and my parents considered that they had no time to take care of it because they went out early and came back late, so they secretly sent it to my uncle’s house in the countryside during the National Day without my knowledge). It was said that it didn’t want to sleep in the house in the first few days. It lay alone in the corridor late at night, and the door must be left a crack.

Later, it realized that it was “abandoned” by us, and slowly accepted the reality. It was also very comfortable in the countryside, and would accompany my aunt to farm. I was actually a little sad to hear my parents’ feedback. The possessiveness has always been at work.

During the winter vacation of 2020, the first thing I did when I returned to my hometown was to cry and make a fuss to take it back. At first, I was worried that it had forgotten me, but… when it saw me and sniffed me, it started to “bump” me. It bumped into me for a whole day, and followed me wherever I walked. At night, it jumped on the bed and licked me non-stop. Haha.

Considering whether my uncle’s family would be reluctant to part with it, I hesitated for a long time before proposing to take it back. Unexpectedly, my uncle agreed without hesitation. At this time, he began to “complain”, saying that my dog was too difficult to raise. Not only was it timid, but it would not let anyone touch it after raising it for so long. Its tail was always tucked between its legs. It looked like a “stray dog” every day. You should take it back. It has decided on you. It is stubborn.

Supplement: This year during the Chinese New Year, it was in the countryside, that is, my uncle’s house. It was scared away by firecrackers and did not show up for three days and three nights. On the fourth day, our family went to my grandmother’s house to pay New Year’s greetings. I had no choice but to leave first. I asked my uncle’s family to pay more attention to it and leave a crack in the house at night.

That night, it was so hungry that it walked to my uncle’s door and cried. My aunt called me and told me that it would not let anyone get close to it. It would only eat the food a few meters away, but it would run away again when people approached.

Then my father went to pick it up as soon as possible. At 9 o’clock in the evening, it jumped out of the bushes and rushed to my father when it heard my father’s voice. At night, when my father went to the toilet and left it for a short time, it would cry anxiously in the upstairs room.

Some people commented that my uncle said that to give me a way out. I want to explain: First, my uncle is really good, a very simple farmer. Second, but the dog is raised by my aunt, and my uncle works outside all year round. Third, when the dog was lost during the Chinese New Year, my uncle said: Forget about losing a dog with a weird personality, and buy another one. Fourth, I don’t want to show that I am complacent because the dog likes our family more than my uncle’s family. I just want to answer the question: Are dogs really loyal?
