Actually, I had never raised a dog before I raised a Border Collie, but after I raised one, I met many “dog friends” and saw many dogs of other breeds. I realized that I would probably not raise other breeds in the future!!!!
The intelligence of the Border Collie lies in that it is not only what you teach him, but also what you usually do!!! For other normal things like shaking hands and greeting the New Year, you don’t even need to induce food, just repeat the name of the action when he does it unintentionally.

Once I went to a friend’s house and locked him and his friend’s dog in a dog cage and we ate outside. Then he sat there the whole time, very angry and motionless (because he had never been locked in a dog cage before), and did not interact with dogs. I knew they would usually want to stick to each other and play. He was very sad and angry the whole time (it felt like putting a decent woman in a brothel), but he didn’t bark or make a fuss, just stared at us. My friend couldn’t stand it anymore and let him out, and then he lay down outside the cage to rest.
